Terms of Service

Last updated: March 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By sending messages to ddot Agent on any supported platform (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord), or by using the ddot gateway, CLI tools, MCP bridge, or the ddot skill marketplace, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

ddot is a personal AI agent gateway that processes messages through sandboxed WebAssembly skills and secures MCP server connections via the ddot-mcp-bridge security proxy. Skills provide functionality such as weather lookups, web searches, reminders, unit conversions, and more. The MCP bridge provides Ed25519 signature verification, tool whitelisting, capability gating, environment isolation, and hash-chained audit logging for connected MCP servers.

3. Service Tiers and Pricing

ddot currently offers the following service tiers:

  • Free Tier: Core security features including the MCP bridge, Ed25519 signature verification, tool whitelisting, capability gating, and basic audit logging are available at no cost. The Wasm skill sandbox, prompt firewall, and channel adapters are included.
  • Sigma Tier: Premium features including Twin AI (Ring 1), DENSE hive-brain enrichment, 5D manifold memory projection, on-chain attestation via Bitcoin OP_RETURN, and advanced analytics.

Future pricing changes: Certain security and platform features that are currently available at no cost may transition to paid tiers in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, advanced audit analytics, extended audit retention, compliance reporting, enterprise key management, multi-gateway federation, and priority support. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice before any feature transitions from free to paid. Core MCP bridge security (signature verification, tool whitelisting, and capability gating) will remain available in the free tier.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or compromise the service
  • Send malicious, abusive, or harmful content
  • Attempt to bypass the prompt firewall or security controls
  • Use automated tools to flood the service with requests
  • Tamper with or attempt to forge Ed25519 signatures or audit chain entries

5. Intellectual Property

The ddot gateway (Ring 2 and Ring 3) is open-source software licensed under Apache 2.0. Twin AI (Ring 1) is proprietary. the ddot skill marketplace, brand assets, and ddot name are the property of their respective owners. Third-party MCP servers and skills retain their original licensing.

6. Security and Audit Data

ddot generates audit chain data, signature verification records, and security event logs as part of normal operation. This data is stored locally on your gateway and is not transmitted to ddot or any third party unless you explicitly configure external log forwarding. You are responsible for the retention and protection of your local audit data.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While ddot implements security controls designed to protect MCP server interactions, we do not guarantee that the service will prevent all security incidents. The security features are defense-in-depth measures that significantly reduce risk but do not eliminate it entirely. Skill outputs are generated programmatically and should not be relied upon for critical decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ddot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to damages arising from security incidents involving MCP servers.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of ddot is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described therein. ddot is designed to be self-hosted: your data stays on your machine unless you explicitly configure external integrations.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for any user who violates these terms. You may stop using the service at any time by simply not sending messages to ddot Agent or by uninstalling the gateway software.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, including changes to pricing or feature availability, we will provide reasonable advance notice.
